Description: I have the identical swan posted with the Nippon Yoko Boeki Co. makers mark on the bottom of it. Finding that information didnt take long. Then I obtained the same figure, but it has a different makers mark. All the Google searches I tried could not identify this mark. It seems it was either an import/exporter of Japanese goods and they stamped their own mark on it, or it was imported during the Occupied Japan era. Rules for imported goods during that period fell by the wayside. What you could do is buy both my pieces, and youll have a good story to tell or project to try and figure out.
