Description: This was a piece from my late father’s office. He spent his entire life in the Aerospace industry and I know he enjoyed these models. Personally, I don’t know much about this piece, other than a description I found online: • Scalecraft Models 1/48 Scale USAF North American F-100 Super Sabre "FV-099, In Silver Colors" Solid Wood Desk Top Display Model Airplane With Stand Item #1085. This airplane model was painstakingly built by skilled craftsmen, with a wealth of hand-carved and hand-painted detail. • The model airplane measures approximately 12.50" in length x 10.00" wingspan. This model does appear to be wooden in nature. I do not see these come up very often and, when they do, they’re often very expensive. This is a beautiful example of this model, looking basically brand new in every way. It’s a gorgeous piece and I hope someone can enjoy it.
