The internal battery eliminates the fuss of hooking up to an external power supply. The unit features an integral charging jack so that you can plug the charger into the LaunchMaster and charge the battery without removing it. The LaunchMaster comes preassembled, using a heavy-duty case that easily fits in one hand. It includes a safety key with a bright red nylon loop, making it easy to find in the grass if you should drop it. It is proudly made in the USA. The clips have heatshrink tubing over the joint where the wire attaches to the smooth jaw micro clip. Not only does this help to prevent the metal clips from touching each other and shorting out, but it also helps prevent the connection from corroding from the rocket exhaust.
