Description: Norwalk, OH Cabinet Card full-length woman w/ pillar, flowers by F.D. Foster This woman has a bit of a serious look, but it looks as if she's slightly amused by the photographing process. She stands with one hand resting on a prop pillar, and we can see her wholbeautiful dress, with its pleated skirt and deorative flourishes. On reverse of card is printed: "F.D. FosterPhotographer,No. 14 West Main St.NORWALK, O" Yellowing to image. Fading to image, less so at edges, as if the image were in a frame at one time. Light surface scratching. Light crease in lower right of image. Foxing (brown spotting) to image. Gilded edge, rounded corner card measures about 6.5 x 4.25 inches, and image is about 5.625 x 4 inches. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so please check out my other listings. I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
