Description: This is a surplus unused sheet of black Noryl material. Dimensions are 3" thick by slightly larger than 12" x 7". The edges are rough as manufactured and the flat surfaces are shelf-worn from storage as can be seen in the photos. None of this will matter to the user who will be machining it to smaller dimensions. From the online description of Noryl: Noryl® modified PPO (Polyphenylene Oxide - Styrene) is an alloy of PPO and styrene. Due to its inherent chemical composition, Noryl® exhibits unusually low moisture absorption, providing excellent insulating properties and dimensional stability over a wide range of humidity and temperature. Noryl® has good electrical insulating properties and long-term dimensional stability due to low moisture absorption. It also has superior impact strength, is light-weight, and is hydrolytically stable. It may be used continuously at temperatures in excess of 220°F.
