This is a rare hard to find Ignition lock for the 1970-1973 Ford Lincoln Mercury cars in truck with the ignition in the column, 1970-73 (Built before 5/14/73)Will not work with dash mounted ignition locks As you can see in the pictures, the word "LOCK" is not recessed and no rectangular box around it. This has just has the word LOCK on the chrome ears. This is from what I found one of the early style ignitions and then they changed them to have the recessed rectangular box around the word LOCK which are like what most are selling on here. These sets were made up from a large tote I have that had numerous NOS FORD locks in them, some with keys some without. Also included if needed are universal clips and some lock gaskets, may vary from pictures. As always, look and compare!! Buyer is responsible for purchasing the correct part.
