Description: The each number in the quantity you buy is for one (1) California emissions sticker. This was a law a lot of folks have forgotten about. In 1973, legislation was passed ordering residents of the basin area with vehicles made between 1966-1970 had to have an aftermarket "lean burn" emissions system added to their car. After this power robbing mod was made, a sticker was placed on the lower inside passenger side of the windshield. Your car had to display this sticker or you would be subject to a fine. There were a handful of exceptions. Diesel, Fuel injection and multiple factory carburetors were Exempt, and they had this special Exempt sticker placed in the same spot. The program came to an end in the mid-late 1970's. I still find remnants of the systems in California cars from time to time. This is a neat item to attach to your California 1966-1970 car. It is an original, not a reproduction, and has the stub maintained for records attached. Your sticker will have a different serial number than shown as each is unique. If you have any questions, just ask. Sold as is.
