Description: ***********I'm a longtime VRF (vintagerolexforum.com) member in good standing.***********I purchased this Rolex Explorer 214270 MK1 brand new in February 2012 from Robert C. Wesley Jewelers, a Rolex authorized dealer in Scottsdale, AZ. Other than having the protective stickers removed and the band sized this watch has never been worn. It comes complete with everything seen in the pictures, which includes the original outer box, inner box, chronometer certification with my name on written on the backside, warranty booklet, Rolex Explorer booklet, Factory Service booklet, polishing cloth, pillow cushion, two tags and two spare bracelet links with both screws. All three booklets mentioned above are in the sleeve seen in picture 21. Pictures of these booklets can be provided upon request. Any wear seen is dust/debris/fingerprint smudging on the outside of the watch and or minor blemishes/imperfections from storage/handling over the past decade plus. The serial number has been intentionally hidden in pictures 20 and 24, respectively (only the pictures were edited). It should go without saying that the serial number engraved on the rehaut matches the serial number on the certification and hangtag.....the serial number on the watch matches all documentation. The hacking 3132 automatic movement runs strong and keeps accurate time. It tends to fire up after about 15 full winds and then runs strong, keeping accurate time, over an approximate 45-48 hour power reserve period (depends on how many times the crown is wound). The screwdown crown unscrews and screws back down perfectly as it should and winds buttery smooth. I'll give the crown several winds about once a month to let the movement run. Because this watch has never been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 39 mm excluding the crown, approximately 41 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. This watch comes on its original 13 link (11 as pictured with two spares) oyster bracelet with Oysterlock safety clasp. Because it was sized to my wrist there are two spare links with accompanying screws, which of course are included. Although the movement runs strong and keeps accurate time there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given. And please study the 24 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.Expedited and insured shipping along with signature confirmation will be provided. Thanks for looking!***********I'm a longtime VRF (vintagerolexforum.com) member in good standing.***********
