If there's a flaw, I can't find it. Introduced in the 1940s, this design was used until @1960 when Ford released a rectangular ('Red') sign with 'FoMoCo' rendered in block letters. This oval version was extremely popular with dealers and featured heavily in Ford's print advertising. Look for one example of this in my video. DON'T BE FOOLED BY CHEAP KNOCK-OFFS from India, etc. Crucially, their lettering is copied from scanned images — it looks pixelated (!) seen up-close.
