The new old stock is in very good, unused condition with minor surface scratches, discoloration, and blemishes consistent with age and loose storage. The cast brushed aluminum case measure approximately 2 ¼” by 1 7/16” and is ½” thick. The ring has 1” OD and a 7/16” ID for use with pole hooks. The spring latch has a nice, smooth action. The vintage transom lock weighs about 3.5 ounces and does not include the strike or screws. A high-quality American-style transom catch, Ives No. 80 size.
