All three books UNOPENED, but I noted that #2 didn't look perfect, so it seems to have a touch of storage wear, but all three are still in high-grade condition.Alien Legion 2VF-1.5001/1984 - Epic Comics - UNOPENED - by Carl Potts/Alan Zelenetz/Frank Cirocco - "Blind Trust" Been in storage since I originally bought it almost 40 years ago (and never opened it) - I see some storage wear has dropped it down to upper-mid-grade, but I see the pages are still white.All-Out War 1VF2.251979 - Dollar Comics - UNOPENED - various war-stories, including "The Viking Comando" I bought this off the newsstand when I was a teenager in 1979 -- never had time to look at it -- been in storage ever since (40+ years), so it has slight storage wear.Alpha Flight 18, 28VF/NM2.951985 - UNOPENED 18 - 01/85 - by John Byrne, 1st app Ranaq the Devourer - "How Long Will A Man Lie In The Earth 'Ere He Rot?" 28 - 11/85 - by John Byrne, Last Byrne issue before moving over to the Hulk, Beyonder app; Secret Wars II - "Cross-Over" Both books appear to have been purchased for re-sale -- one has impression of price written on outside of bag -- neither is fully NM anymore.Amazing Fantasy 16NM3.501995 - UNOPENED ($3.95 cover price) - takes place between Amazing Fantasy #15 and Spider-Man #1 Good god, this book looks just about pristine! Good luck finding a better one, certainly not at this price at less than original cover!Amazing Spider-Man #2 (vol 2)NM2.2502/99 - UNOPENED ($1.99 cover price) - by Howard Mackie/John Byrne/Scott Hanna - "I Can't...(and I Don't Want to)...But I Must!" Looks like it was just published yesterday.Amber Graphic Novels lot of 4NM-10.001996 - UNOPENED - by Terry Bisson/Roger Zelazny/Bryn Barnard - Prestige format; Adaptation of Roger Zelazny novel A couple of issues from two different mini-series -- the Nine Princes in Amber and Guns of Avalon. Other than one slightly bent corner (visible in photos), these books look brand new and each have a cover price of $6.95 -- so this is essentially getting them for about a third of the original cover price!America vs the Justice Society 1NM3.9501/85 - UNOPENED - by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas/Rafael Kayanan, Rich Buckler, Jerry Ordway, Origin of Justice Society of America; Giant-size; Back cover reprints cover of All-Star Comics #4 - "I Accuse!; Witness For The Persecution!" Bought at original publication and never opened -- still looks brand newAnnie 1-2 (Marvel Movie Special)VF/NM4.951982 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - The complete 2-part movie adaptation. Both books were bought when originally published and immediately stored away UNOPENED. They have slight fading (see bottom back edge for instance) after 40 years but remain in excellent shape.Arak Son of Thunder 1NM-3.7509/81 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Roy Thomas/Ernie Colon/Tony DeZuniga - "The Sword and the Serpent!" Never opened after first published. Looks only slightly handled to get into storage -- not perfect, but very nice.Arion Lord of Atlantis 1VF/NM2.7511/82 - UNOPENED - by Paul Kupperberg/Jan Duursema - "Star Spawn -- Sun Death" UNOPENED copy, but slight fading on back prevents a full NM grade.Astonishing Tales 1FR10.001970 - by Stan Lee/Jack Kirby, Kraven the Hunter app - "The Power of Ka-Zar!" and Dr. Doom feature by Roy Thomas and Wally Wood called "Unto You is Born...the Doomsman!" The book looks like it's been read a couple of times -- has a store mark in the CCA box -- a missing corner on back cover (easily seen in photos), as well as a math problem. Pages are off-white, and the book still would have easily graded VG- at worst, but the copy is INCOMPLETE due to the cut-out coupon on the back side of what is page 8 of the Dr. Doom story, so a that upper-left corner of story panels is gone or affected (see photo with my hand showing the page). Definitely a gap-filler issue.Batgirl Special #1NM6.951988 - UNOPENED ($1.50 cover price) - by Randall, Kitson and Patterson - "The Last Batgirl Story" Wow, this book looks like it might have been published yesterday -- only thing is that the pages are off-white, but otherwise, it looks nearly pristine -- wow.Batman the Cult 1NM3.5008/88 - UNOPENED ($3.50 cover price) - by Jim Starlin/Bernie Wrightson, Painted cover; vs Deacon Blackfire - "Ordeal" For all intents and purposes, this looks like a brand new copy that hardly looks handled at all. I peeked at the first page and see one small printing blemish which shows a little white dot on an all-black background, but good grief, this is a near-pristine copy regardless and very obviously never read.Batman the Cult 2NM3.5009/88 - UNOPENED ($3.50 cover price) - by Jim Starlin/Bernie Wrightson, Painted cover; vs Deacon Blackfire - "Capture" For all intents and purposes, this looks like a brand new copy that hardly looks handled at all.Battlestar Galactica 1VF-4.7503/79 - Comics Adaptation of the 1970s TV show of the same name - by Roger McKenzie and Ernie Colan. Flat and shiny copy that has been read before, with some wear showing on edges, particularly bottom back. Pages off-white. Solid copy that is still upper-mid-grade.Black Knight 2, 4VF5.501990 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT ($3.00 total cover price) -- Issues 2 and 4 of the 4-part limited series 07/90 - by Dann Thomas/Roy Thomas/Tony DeZuniga, 1st app Sean Dolan - "In the Dread of Knight" 09/90 - by Dann Thomas/Roy Thomas/Rich Buckler - "Knight...And Day!" Both books show light handling, perhaps read once, or perhaps just what you'd expect from a NEWSSTAND VARIANT.Black Panther 1 and 2VF4.951988 - UNOPENED -- first 1 issues of 4-part mini-series by Peter Gillis and Denys Cowan First issue looks about new with near-white pages and would be close to NM. Issue 2 looks the same except for some fading on the extreme edges of the covers, both front and back (see photos). I safely marked the pair at VF as a result.Camelot 3000 lot of 5NM-5.951982-1984 - UNOPENED - by Mike Barr/Brian Bolland -- issues 3, 4, 5, 6, and 12 of the 12-part "maxi-series" from around 40 years ago. Cover price alone on these is $1 to $1.25 apiece. Books look almost new, none having ever been opened. Only a little corner ding on a couple drops them below NM.Captain Atom 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9NM-6.501987 - UNOPENED I bought these when first published, never opened them and immediately stored them away. They look mostly new, and only light handling and storage wear keeps them below NM.Champions 17VG/FN4.2501/78 - by Bill Mantlo/George Tuska/John Byrne, vs Sentinels; Final Issue - "The Sentinels Hunt Again!" Appears around mid-grade from the front, but the back has a cut mark on the top-right (visible in photo) and more surface build-up than allowed for a mid-grade book. Has been read before but still looks a mite better than a straight-up reader copy still with mostly nice-looking pages.Cloak and Dagger 1VF/NM3.951985 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Bill Mantlo/Rick Leonardi - "Sinners All!" Only minimal handling wear (nice for a NEWSSTAND VARIANT copy), still with near-white pages.Cloak and Dagger 1, 4NM-5.9507/85 - UNOPENED - by Bill Mantlo/Rick Leonardi - "Sinners All!" 01/86 - UNOPENED - by Bill Mantlo/Rick Leonardi, Beyonder app, Secret Wars II - "Ultimatums" Very nice copies. Both look new or very close to it. As you can see, the #1 was printed a bit cock-eyed, but seems otherwise seems in excellent shape.Comet Man 4-5NM-2.5005/87 - by Bill Mumy, Miguel Ferrer/Kelley Jones - "The Damage Done!" 06/87 - by Bill Mumy, Miguel Ferrer/Kelley Jones - "All Your Love's in Vain!" Guest-starring Nick Fury, She-Hulk and the Fantastic Four! They may not be absolutely perfect, but they both still look close to brand new.Conan the Barbarian Movie Special 1VF-1.9510/82 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by John Buscema, Michael Fleisher, John Milius, Oliver Stone/John Buscema, Movie adaptation Never opened, but storage wear caused a ding in lower-right back cover (visible in photo) -- a touch of edge wear as well, dropping this below "high" grade.DC Sampler 1NM3.951983 - UNOPENED - Promotional Giveaway -- issue date is 01/83 Still looks just about new, about the way it did when first published nearly 40 years ago, with off-white pages.Deadly Hands of Kung Fu 18VG4.501975 - (w/ Curtis Publication) - a magazine-sized issue featuring Shang-Chi, Iron Fist and the Sons of the Tiger Due to it unusual size, it was stored inefficiently and its edges ended up taking a beating in the 40+ years of storage. It is complete but definitely now falls squarely in the "reader" category.Defenders 3FN9.951972 - by Steve Englehart/Sal Buscema, The Hulk, Dr. Strange and Sub-Mariner try and help the Silver Surfer leave Earth and encounter the Nameless One and free Barbara Norris (the Valkrie). This book is flat and mostly clean, and extremely smooth (meaning virtually no wrinkles at all). It still has off-white pages that are in great shape and everything is attached, but as you can see from the back side, when it went through the folding process, it didn't get centered right, leading to that overhang you see in the photos. Look at the view from the bottom, and you'll see it's NOT a spine roll at all -- it simply was printed that way -- and yes, there does appear to be some evidence that it was held open and read as well, so it's not like that spine is in perfect condition anyway. Bottom line is that structurally, it's closer to a FN copy, but I'll go ahead and acknowledge the printing defect and subsequent handling and price it lower -- you're not likely to find a VG copy even at this price! Tons of photos, so take a good look!Doc Savage 1NM-2.5011/87 - UNOPENED - by Denny O'Neil/Adam Kubert/Andy Kubert - "Into the Silver Pyramid" Looks just about brand new, with perhaps just a touch of faded white on back. Pages still near white (I peeked).Doctor Who 1FN-3.5010/84 - UNOPENED - by Mills/Wagner/Gibbons - "Doctor Who and the Star Beast" Looks brand new, but it was obviously stored up against the back of a bagged copy and got some tape rub up against the title -- you can see that in the photo -- the smudge up in the title area. I had to demote this otherwise mostly new-looking copy down to below mid-grade. Bottom-left back corner also has bend. Pages off-white.Doom 2099 1-2NM9.751993 - UNOPENED - First two issues (with #1 being the foil cover NEWSSTAND VARIANT) of Doom 2099 by John Francis Moorer and Pat Broderick Both part of a collection of UNOPENED books I bought over 20 years ago -- they still look like they might have just been published last week!Doom Patrol (vol 2) 1-3NM7.501987 - UNOPENED - by Kupperberg/Lightle/Martin I bought these when published as extra copies and they were stored away, never opened, and pretty much look like they might have been published last week.E-Man 9 and 10VG/FN4.951977 - Modern Comics - by Nicola Cuti/Joe Staton and includes early work by John Byrne! A pair of Bronze Age issues that have clearly been read before but suffer more from fading than wear. But they've definitely have been read before and show it.Elektra Assassin 4NM3.951986 - UNOPENED - Issue 4 from the 8-part limited series by Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz. Gee, the book looks like it might have just been published last week!Excalibur 1NM9.9510/88 - UNOPENED - by Chris Claremont/Alan Davis, 1st app Tweedledope (in America); 1st app Widget; vs Warwolves - "Warwolves of London!" Looks brand new, like it was just published last week! It was the extra copy I bought and never opened. Pages still brilliantly white.Fallen Angels 1-5NM7.501987 - UNOPENED - First 5 parts of the 8-part limited series by Mary Jo Duffy and Kerry Gammill, and featuring the New Mutants. Books look just about the way they did when I first bought then -- almost like they were published only recently, as opposed to the 35 years it actually has been!Fallen Angels 2, 4, 5VF2.501987 - Parts 2, 4 and 5 from the 8-part limited series by Mary Jo Duffy and Kerry Gammill, and featuring the New Mutants. Issue 2 looks like it was read before, but the other two look essentially brand new.Fantastic Force 1 and 2NM-4.75 1994 - by Tom Brevoort/Mike Katterovich/Dante Bastianoni Both issues have their originally bound inserts still attached. Issue 1 looks just about brand new -- slick and shiny. Issue 2 looks like it was bought and laid around awhile before being stored away. Despite their age, both have white pages.Fantastic Four coverless Lot (112,121,145,GS3)POOR6.95Bronze Age lot of 4 -- Issues 112 (featuring a Thing/Hulk battle), 121 (vs Gabriel, herald of Galactus), 145 (w/ then-member Medusa) and Giant-Size #3, featuring an original story with member Medusa and a reprint of issue 21 with the 1st appearance of the Hate-Monger. Obviously this set of four Bronze Age books is in poor condition with no covers, and so are only useful as gap-fillers, they all nevertheless seem to be complete copies, are entirely readable and served that very purpose for me over the course of 40 years of collecting!Fantastic Four Index 2NM1.95 1986 - Issue 2 of the Official Marvel Index to the Fantastic Four, which provide information and synopses of the issues 16-36 of original volume of the FF, and Annual 1. In fact, the back features an alternate version of that very same FF Annual #1, which Stan Lee rejected in favor of the version that ultimately got published. If you want a very nice reference guide to some of the FF's earliest adventures, this is a great pick-up! Flat, shiny, slick and smooth with white pages -- looks brand new! Offered at less than half of what new books run for today!Fantastic Four Index 2, 9, 10NM-5.50 1986-1987 - Three issues of the Official Marvel Index to the Fantastic Four, which provide information and synopses of the original volume of the FF (and various annuals). Back of issue 2 features an alternate version of FF Annual #1, which Stan Lee rejected in favor of the version that ultimately got published. If you want a very nice reference guide to some of the FF's earliest adventures, this is a great pick-up! Books were never opened and still look just about brand new. I do note that some of the inner pages of issue 2 were cut wrong during printing, which were cut with folds, which when you unfold them, cause the corners to stick out a bit from the rest, but this printing defect in no way affects the readability of the contents. But I marked the set down to NM- anyway. Original cover price for these issues is $3.75, and today's books run around 4 bucks eash, so you're getting three books at a very reasonable price!Fantastic Four Unlimited 4NM-2.50 12/93 (Cover price $3.95) - UNOPENED - by Roy Thomas/Herb Trimpe -- Thing vs Hulk Good grief, this book looks like it was just published -- slick and smooth with white shiny pages. The back side has a few specks that show it was slid in and out of a stack (at the store probably) before being purchased, so it's not pristine, but I offer it at well below original cover price!Fantastic Four vs X-Men 1-3NM-6.951987 - Issues 1-3 of the 4-part 35+ year-old set of Fantastic Four vs the X-Men 1-4, published by Marvel in 1987 and brought to you by Chris Claremont and Jon Bogdanove. Issue 1 has a touch of spine wear that knocks it below NM, but the other two literally look brand new. All have white pages.Fantastic Four vs X-Men 2NM2.951987 - Issue 2 of the 4-part 35+ year-old set of Fantastic Four vs the X-Men 1-4, published by Marvel in 1987 and brought to you by Chris Claremont and Jon Bogdanove. Flat, shiny, slick and looks brand new, with white pages.Firestar 1-2 newsstandVF--1986 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - Issues 1 and 2 of the 35+ year-old set of Firestar, brought to you by Tom DeFalco and Mary Wilshire, featuring the X-Men, New Mutants, the White Queen and others. While both books are still nice and shiny with near-white pages, both also look like they were handled at bit at the newsstand before purchase (mostly right around the UPC box), so even though they haven't been read, they're still no longer NM. Still nice copies.Firestar 1-3NM--1986 - UNOPENED - Issues 1, 2 and 3 of the 35+ year-old set of Firestar, brought to you by Tom DeFalco and Mary Wilshire, featuring the X-Men, New Mutants, the White Queen and others. I bought copies of these books when they were first published and immediately stored these away UNOPENED, where they have been virtually undisturbed for the last three-and-a-half decades. All look almost exactly like they did when I first bought them. A couple even still have white pages (I peeked).Fish Police 2 and 4NM-3.5002/86 - UNOPENED ($3 total cover price) - Fishwrap Productions - by Steve Moncuse Only some faint wear on spine of #2 (just visible in photos) drops this below NM.Flash & Green Lantern Brave and the Bold 5VF1.9502/2000 - UNOPENED ($2.50 cover price) - Part 5 of 6 - by Mark Waid/Tom Peyer/Barry Kitson - "The Man Without Fearlessness" Only some smudging on front spine edge drops this UNOPENED copy below NM.For Your Eyes Only 1-2VF/NM3.951981 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - official movie adaptation, complete set. Only a hint of edge wear and a touch of fading on back after over 40 years of storage prevents this from grading higher.Fun and Games 1VF3.751979 -- newsstand edition Book has been in storage for over 40 years. I flipped through it briefly to make sure it wasn't already drawn in and didn't see anything, so it appears to be ready to use!G.I. Joe Special Missions 1NM-1.2510/86 - UNOPENED - by Larry Hama/Herb Trimpe - "That Sinking Feeling" No longer pristine, with faint signs of wear during 35+ years of storage, but still looks mostly new.Gambit 1FN+4.251993 - $2.50 cover price with embossed cover - by Howard Mackie/Lee Weehs - "Tithing" Shows evidence of a prior reading with minor wear and some ticks along spine. Pages still near-white.Gargoyle 1, 2NM-2.5006/85 - by J.M. DeMatteis/Mark Badger - "Love and Death" 08/85 - by J.M. DeMatteis/Mark Badger - "Lost Souls" Parts 1 and 3 of the 1985 limited series. Both look just about like they did when they were first published with possibly a hair's worth of storage wear from 35+ years of storage.Generation X Minus 1NM1.7507/97 - UNOPENED ($1.95 cover price) - by James Robinson/Chris Bachalo, Flashback - "The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship" Still looks like it might have just been published - peeked inside and see pages that are still white.Generic Comic Book 1NM8.5004/84 - UNOPENED - by Steve Skeates - "A Superhero!" Capitalizing on the generic craze of the 1980s, Marvel thought they'd have a little fun joining in, and created this "No Frills" edition. I only opened it to take the pictures -- it has been in storage for 38 years and still looks almost brand new and has off-white pages.Hawkman 1-2FN+3.9508/86 - UNOPENED - by Tony Isabella/Richard Howell/Don Heck - "Secrets..." 09/86 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Tony Isabella/Richard Howell/Don Heck - "Shadows..." While neither book was ever opened, both have visible storage wear, causing some fading (particularly evident in rear image) and a rough edge here or there.Hercules Prince of Power 1VF3.001984 - UNOPENED - Volume 2, issue 1 of the 4-part set by Bob Layton. Book looks lightly read but still in good shape.Heroes for Hope, Against HungerVF/NM7.501985-1986 - UNOPENED - a pair of issues published to raise money to fight the famine in Africa Marvel published Heroes for Hope starring the X-Men in 1985, and DC followed with Heroes Against Hunger, featuring Superman and Batman the next year. Both books are UNOPENED, but while the X-Men book still seems close to brand new, with a slick, shiny surface, still with near-white pages, the DC book has faded a bit in the back and has a little chipped spot up top from storage wear (just visible in photo) -- pages not quite as white. Heh -- check out that X-Men back cover too -- very obviously by Jim Starlin! Both still high-grade, but the set itself is no longer pristine.Hex 1NM-4.5009/85 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Michael Fleisher/Mark Texeira/Klaus Janson - Origin retold - "Once Upon a Time...In the West?!?" Still looks just about brand new and has near-white pages (I peeked).House of Mystery 300VF8.0001/82 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - UNOPENED - by Len Wein/Gil Kane It is an UNOPENED copy, but the back top edge doesn't seem to have weathered the last 4 decades perfectly, as you can see in the photo, with a touch of wear and fading. Plus, there's a bit of a smudge up above the word "CHALLENGE" as well, so the copy is still high-grade but certainly not NM. Pages off-white.Howard the Duck 7, 8, 14, 32mixed7.251976-1986 - Issues 7, 8, 14 and 32 (details in table below) 7FAIR12/76 - by Steve Gerber/Gene Colan - "The Way The Cookie Crumbles!"rugged copy with piece missing from back cover and extra staples in repair attempt8POOR01/77 - by Steve Gerber/Gene Colan - "Open Season!"INCOMPLETE - splash page missing, multiple coupons cut out (see inner photo)14FN01/77 - by Steve Gerber/Gene Colan - "A Duck Possessed!"Solid enough copy that shows a prior reading or two32VF01/86 - by Steven Grant/Paul Smith - "Going Underground"only light handling wear Hulk 312, 318FN/VF2.501985-1986 - UNOPENED - by Bill Mantlo, Mike Mignola and John Byrne Please note that while these are UNOPENED copies, they have some obvious storage wear, complete with bowed spines, which you can kind of make out in the photos.Invaders 21FN/VF3.5010/77 - by Roy Thomas/Frank Robbins - "The Battle Of Berlin!, Part 2" Also contains reprint of Golden Age Sub-Mariner story from Marvel Mystery Comics #10 from 1940 by Bill Everett Been lightly read-through but in solid shape. Issue 1 is an UNOPENED, NEWSSTAND VARIANT that has only minor storage wear and still looks mostly new (but note the faded edges on back). Throw in at no extra charge is a very wrinkly copy of #3 as well (looks like it might have been laid down in some moisture.Kid Colt Outlaw 209, Rawhide Kid 150FN1.501976, 1979 Kid Colt Outlaw #209 Rawhide Kid 150 Both books have been read before -- the Kid Colt Outlaw book is in lesser condition (which shows in photos)KillravenNM4.951983 - UNOPENED - Marvel Graphic Novel 7 ($5.95 cover price) - by Don McGregor/P. Parts 1, 2, 4 and 6 of the 6-part mini-series. Issues 1 and 2 look just about brand new. Issue 4 has minor handling wear on upper-right back. Issue 6 is a NEWSSTAND VARIANT and also looks lightly handled on rear side. Set is therefore not fully NM.Legends 1-2NM-4.951986 - UNOPENED - the first 2 issues of the 6-part set, featuring the work of John Byrne, Len Wein, John Ostrander and Karl Kesel. This includes Darkseid, many of the Justice League, a 1st appearance by Amanda Waller of the new Suicide Squad, the New Teen Titans, Shazam and many others. Both books still essentially new, showing only faint shadowing at the extreme back edges from decades of storage, which you can just make out in the photos.Legion of Super-Heroes 274FN-2.5004/81 - by Gerry Conway/Steve Ditko - "The Exaggerated Death of Ultra Boy" An average copy that's obviously been handled before; still solid, but back has enough surface build-up to make me drop this just below mid-grade.Legion of Super-Heroes 279FN+2.5009/81 - by Roy Thomas/Jimmy Janes - "Castle Grimbor Must Fall!" Was read before and held tightly near upper staple (see photo), but remains in solid shape and otherwise is at or slightly above mid-grade.Legion of Super-Heroes 281VF/NM4.0011/81 - by Roy Thomas/Paul Levitz/Steve Ditko, vs Molecule Master - "Madness Is the Molecule Master" Only slightly handled, with a single spine dimple; pages still appear white.Legion of Super-Heroes 288, 298, 300VF/NM9.501982-1983 -- Issues 288, 298 and 300, which includes a still-sealed copy of the first appearance of Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld (details in table below) 288VF/NM06/82 - by Paul Levitz/Keith Giffen - "The Legionnaire's Made for Burning"298NMUNOPENED (still sealed in bag) 04/83 - by Paul Levitz, Keith Giffen, Dan Mishkin, Gary Cohn/Keith Giffen, Ernie Colon, first appearance Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld, 1st app Dark Opal - "The Edge of Nowhere; Duel in Dark Magic"300VF/NMUNOPENED - 06/83 - by Paul Levitz, Keith Giffen/Keith Giffen, Kurt Schaffenberger, Howard Bender, Curt Swan, Dave Cockrum, James Sherman, Joe Staton, Tales of the Adult Legion; Cover credits in #306 - "The Future Is Forever!" -- book looks brand new except for minor bend in back lower-left corner. Logan's Run 1VG/FN4.0001/77 - by David Kraft/George Perez/Klaus Janson - Official Movie Adaptation -- you gotta love that early Bronze Age Perez work (which looks remarkably like his work from the Avengers title from roughly the same time period). Obviously this is a well-read copy that shows the general wrinkling and fold remnants you'd expect, along with that ragged bottom edge on the back, but there's still some shine, everything's attached, and the pages are off-white and all looked good.Longshot 4FN/VF5.951985 - UNOPENED - by Ann Nocenti/Arthur Adams, vs She-Hulk, Spider-Man - "Can't Give It All Away!" Book itself is UNOPENED and looks close to brand new, but a smudge mark in upper-right front cover (easily visible in photos) drags this otherwise VF/NM copy back down into the upper-mid-grade realm. I peeked at the pages, and they're still near-white.Madame Xanadu 1VF5.7501/81 - UNOPENED - by Steve Englehart/Marshall Rogers, Joker cameo app - "Dance for Two Demons" Still looks almost brand new with little hints it was handled and stored away for the long decades ahead. You can kind of see the faint signs in the photos (e.g. both right corners for instance), but make no mistake, this copy is still in great shape but just doesn't happen to be perfect anymore. I peeked inside long enough to verify that the poster is still there and attached -- sorry about having to open it briefly, but you can never be too sure without checking!Man of Steel 1, 3, 4, 5NM-4.951986 - UNOPENED - issues 1, 3, 4 and 5 of the 6-part set by John Byrne, who was taking over as the main Superman creative force -- this was his introductory work on the character. Books still look close to brand new, perhaps having only a touch of fading/storage wear, but very nice still.Martian Manhunter 1NM-2.5005/88 - UNOPENED - by J.M. DeMatteis/Mark Badger - "Fever Dream" Looks just about brand new, with only a hint of fading on back keeping it from being full NM.Marvel Age 31VF-5.9510/85 - UNOPENED - features Thundercats preview, as well as the Nightcrawler mini-series, Iron Man 200, John Byrne's plans for Hulk, and the All-New Savage Tales Still looks essentially brand new, but if you look the upper-right corner (upper-left on back), you can see that got dinged and caused a color break, dropping this one to below VF. Otherwise, looks like it might have just been published last week!Marvel Classics Comics lot of 4FN4.951976-1977 - a lot of 3 Marvel Classics Comics (issues 15, 25 and 28) and one Marvel Movie Special featuring the Island of Dr. Moreau. All are thick, square-bound books. All four books have obviously been read through before, with the Treasure Island one being closer to VG and has wrinkles and a split in the spine. The others are in better shape, but no beauties here for sure.Marvel Premiere 27VG+6.9512/75 - (Satana, the Devil's Daughter feature) - by Chris Claremont - "Deathsong" - (artists named only as "The Tribe" but you can tell by looking that Don Heck and Tony Dezuniga were involved) A well-read copy with general overall wear and some wrinkling. It's whole, everything's attached, pages are off-white still and look good, but this copy has obviously been around the block a couple of times.Marvel Premiere 29-30VG+6.5004/76 - Liberty Legion feature by Roy Thomas/Don Heck, 1st appearance/origin of the Liberty Legion Both copies have obviously been read before with the tell-tale signs of it on the covers, edges and inner pages. As you can see from the inner photo, issue 29 is missing the Marvel Value Stamp, while #30 has it still intact. Otherwise nothing terribly wrong with either one, and they still are better than straight-up battered readers. VG+ to VG/FN seems to be about right here.Marvel Premiere 30FN-4.9506/76 - Liberty Legion feature by Roy Thomas/Don Heck and Jack Kirby cover. A mostly average copy that's been enjoyed before but still solid with near-white pages. A bit too much surface build-up on the back for me to go with straight FN though, but as you can see, the Marvel Value Stamp is still intact.Marvel Premiere 31VF-3.0008/76 - Woodgod feature by Bill Mantlo/Keith Giffen/Klaus Janson, first appearance Woodgod Book looks like it was only lightly handled, still mostly smooth, shiny and with cream-to-off-white pages. A solid upper-mid-grade copy.Marvel Premiere 32FN-3.2510/76 - Monark Starstalker feature by Howard Chaykin -- a roughly middle-of-the-road copy that still has near-white pages but has seen some action on the outside, with some wrinkling you can see in the photo and some surface build-up on the back, but a solid, if not spectacular copy.Marvel Premiere 33-34FN-7.5012/76 - 02/77 - Mark of Kane feature by Roy Thomas/Howard Chaykin -- while issue 34 looks mostly new and might even make it all the way to VF (close), issue 33 clearly has been read multiple times with general overall wear, but most importantaly is missing the splash page, making this an incomplete copy. I marked them collectively as FN- to be fair.Marvel Premiere 36FN-3.0006/77 - 3-D Man feature by Roy Thomas/Jim Craig - "The Devil's Music!" -- a mostly average, but still shiny copy that's been read lightly before and shows it. I would have marked this a slightly upper-mid-grade copy, but there's a sticky spot over the title that you can see in the photos, so that certainly dragged it down below mid-grade.Marvel Premiere 39-40FN/VF7.5012/77 - 02/78 - (Tornado feature) - by Marv Wolfman/Bob Brown/Al Milgrom Both copies have been read before, with signs of light handling. #39 is the better one, but both are pretty close. Pages all looked good when I leafed through them.Marvel Premiere 42FN5.5006/78 - (Tigra feature) by John Warner/Ed Hannigan/Mike Vosburg/Ernie Chan - "Nightmare's Evolution" Pretty average middle-of-the-road copy that's showing some edge wear from being read before. A bit of surface build-up on back as well shows that the book has been handled before but remains structurally solid.Marvel Premiere 43FN+2.5008/79 - (Paladin feature) - by Don McGregor/Tom Sutton - "In Manhattan, They Play for Keeps" Still nice copy with small store mark above issue number. An abrasion over UPC box (visible in photo). Good pages.Marvel Premiere 44FN-2.5010/78 - (Jack of Hearts feature) - by Bill Mantlo/Keith Giffen - in his first solo adventure (after having first appeared in Iron Man) - "The Jack of Hearts!" Book looks initially as VF or better, but closer examination reveals a drop of water damage near UPC box and various splotches in the middle of the back cover (visible in photo), dropping this to below mid-grade. Off-white pages that all seem fine.Marvel Premiere 51VG2.5012/79 - (Black Panther feature) - by Ed Hannigan/Jerry Bingham - "The Killing of Windeagle!" Book has obviously been handled and read multiple times, leaving some wrinkling and smudge marks behind -- a reader copy.Marvel Premiere 54VF2.5006/80 - (Caleb Hammer feature) - by Peter Gillis/Gene Day - "The Devil's Starry Anvil!" Only minor signs of handling from a light reading.Marvel Premiere 56VF2.5010/80 - (Dominic Fortune feature) - by Len Wein/Howard Chaykin/David Micheline/Terry Austin - "The Big Top Barter Resolution" Only very minor wear, perhaps from a light reading.Marvel Saga 1, 5, 21NM9.001985-1987 - UNOPENED - issues 1, 5 and 21 of Marvel Saga, which lays out the history of the Marvel timeline. Includes the first issue, which covers the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, X-Men, Alpha Flight. Both issues 5 and 21 are X-Men oriented as well. Books look just about the way they did when first published! All for less each than what you'd pay for new comics today!Marvel Super Action 4FN2.2511/77 - (Marvel Boy feature) - reprinted from 1950s-era Marvel Boy #1 Solid enough copy with only one rugged spot on left edge of back cover (visible in photo) -- otherwise around FN+.Marvel Team-Up 61-62 (ITALIAN)VG/FN1.751979 - Uomo Ragno issue 241 -- the Italian versions of Marvel Team-Up 61 and 62, featuring Spider-Man, the Human Torch and Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) up against the Super-Skrull, by the legendary creative team of Chris Claremont and John Byrne. The front cover is the cover from MTU 61. This book also has a portion of Iron Man issue 102. My good friend lived in Milan for a year (1979) and bought this off the newsstand. I have had it for over 40 years, and it's still in nice shape (though you can see a small piece missing from the bottom edge in the pictures. If you know an Italian-speaking comic lover, this would make a great surprise gift -- a Bronze Age Marvel from over 40 years ago!Marvel Team-Up 95 (SPANISH)VG7.501987 - El Hombre Arana issue 363 -- features two Spanish translations of Spider-Man stories -- the cover one being with Doctor Strange and the Black Cat, but more importantly, the second one is a Spanish version of Marvel Team-Up #95, which is the first appearance of Mockingbird Due to its unusual size, it was stored inefficiently, and its top edge was bent. It's been read before by someone, but is complete with pages that are actually still near-white. Definitely in the "reader" category now, but if you speak the language and can't afford to shell out the big bucks to get a copy of MTU 95, this might be a far more lower-cost alternative!Marvel Universe 2, 4, 5, 6NM-4.951983 - UNOPENED - Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Issues 2, 4, 5 of the 15-issue set published starting in 1983, which details the background, origins, secrets, etc of every major Marvel character of the time. Great reference guide, particularly if you are new to Marvel. These were extra copies I bought at the time and tucked away, so they're unopened and look almost new. With the original cover price of a buck apiece, are you really doing to do any better?Marvel Universe Deluxe 9-11VF/NM6.251986 - UNOPENED (Double-Size) - Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, Deluxe Edition Issues 9, 10 and 11 of the 20-issue set published starting in 1986, which details the background, origins, secrets, etc of every major Marvel character of the time. Great reference guide, particularly if you are new to Marvel. These were extra copies I bought at the time and tucked away, so they're unopened, and other than a bent corner at the top-right of issue 9 (see photo), they basically still look almost new, just showing a touch of 35 years worth of storage wear, but still really nice (but not NM -- let's be clear here). All three are double-sized with the original cover price of $1.50 each, so at roughly half of what new, and regular sized issues go for now, are you really doing to do any better?Medusa ChainVF3.951984 - UNOPENED - DC Graphic Novel 3 ($5.95 cover price) - by Ernie Colon - "Medusa Chain" Has never been opened, but you can see some surface wear on both sides, as it obviously shifted about in storage over the course of the last 35+ years, so no longer pristine.Mephisto vs... 1-2NM---1987 - UNOPENED - by Al Milgrom and the legendary John Buscema (who knew a thing or two about Mephisto, having drawn Silver Surfer #3, which was his first apperance). Here, Mephisto takes on the Fantastic Four and X-Factor in the first two of the 4-part 35+ year-old limited series. For the most part, they look like they might have just been published last week -- only a tiny mark on the back lower-right corner on issue 1 prevents a full NM grade, but dang -- otherwise they still look brand new!Metal Men 51VG2.2507/77 - by Jack Harris/Martin Pasko - "Killing Me Softly with his Scream!" A rugged copy that's obviously been read multiple times. Pages still good and off-white, but cover is wrinkled.Millennium 1-2 (newsstand)NM-5.251987 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Steve Englehart/Mark Englert/Joe Staton -- features most of the DC Universe characters. I bought the books when they were first published, never opened them, and they still look almost almost pristine, but not quite. Still, for newsstand editions, they're very nice.Millennium 1-2,4-8 (lot of 7)VF5.251987 - UNOPENED - by Steve Englehart/Mark Englert/Joe Staton -- features most of the DC Universe characters. I bought the books when they were first published, never opened them, and they still look almost pristine, except for the back of #4, which was stored up against a taped book and left some tape residue on it. Later, the back of #5 must have been stored against that back, and some transfered onto its back. Other than the backs of these two issues, the books still look like they might have been published last week. Of course, since I'm missing #3 of the set, you get this at a considerable discount from what you'd have to pay for a complete set today. Original cover price for all 7 is $5.25, and that's all I'm asking here, so wow, what a deal!Mister Miracle 20FN+3.9510/77 - by Steve Englehart/Marshall Rogers A slightly-above-average copy that still has some shine, is flat and mostly smooth, with some moderate edge (see back extreme edges for instance) and spine wear and off-white pages. Solid enough mid-grade-ish copy.Morbius the Living Vampire 2NM-1.7510/92 - UNOPENED ($1.75 cover price) - by Len Kaminski/Ron Wagner - "Welcome to the Jungle" -- looks just about brand new stillNew Gods 2 and 3NM7.951984 - UNOPENED ($2.50 cover price each) - by Jack Kirby Still look brand new! Reprints original New Gods issues 3-6 from the early Bronze Age series. A more affordable way to pick up reading copies of the original Fourth World series!New Mutants 23 and 33VF/NM2.501985 #23 (VF-) 01/85 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Chris Claremont/Bill Sienkiewicz - "Shadowman" - some spine dimples #33 (NM) 11/85 - by Chris Claremont/Steve Leialoha - "Against All Odds" - looks just about brand newNew Mutants 93NM-5.9509/90 - UNOPENED - by Louise Simonson/Rob Liefeld, Wolverine vs Cable - "Madripoor" Beautiful copy, still shiny and new with near-white pages that doesn't quite make it to NM due to that little stress line you see in photo at upper staple on back side, but otherwise in excellent shape -- I bought it off the rack in 1990, and it's been safely in storage ever since!New Mutants Special Edition 1VF4.951985 - UNOPENED - One-Shot by Chris Claremont and Art Adams (stunning work by him too) and features Storm from the X-Men and the 1st appearance of Brightwind (Valkyrie's Horse), oh and did I mention Loki and the Enchantress, not to mention Asgardians galore? This is indeed an unopened copy with pages as white as anything and looks like it was just published last week, it was nontheless printed with a crease in same spot on both sides. On the front, you can see it right on top of Cannonball. On the back cover, it shows just below Loki and above that floating boulder. So if you're looking for a new copy, it doesn't get much better than this, but it's discounted to below 5 bucks because of that printing defect.Nightcrawler 1, 2, 4VF/NM4.751985 - Issues 1, 2 and 4 of the 35+ year-old 4-part set brought to you by Dave Cockrum. Original cover price of $2.25. Books seem to have been lightly read through before.Nightstalkers 1NM-2.7511/92 - UNOPENED ($2.75 cover price) - by Daniel G. Chichester/Ron Garney - "Rise of the Midnight Sons, Part 5" Looks brand new, but I see slight blemish along back spine when I hold it up to the light, so not perfectly pristine.Obnoxio the Clown vs the X-MenNM-5.751983 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - OneShot, by Alan Kupperberg - "Something Slimey This Way Comes!" (Obnoxio the Clown appears courtesy of CRAZY Magazine) Pretty much still new with only a hint of handling wear from trip home from store to storage closet where it spent the last almost 40 years, unopened. Off-white pages.Omega the Unknown 1FN9.5003/76 - by Steve Gerber/Mary Skrenes/Jim Mooney, 1st app James-Michael Starling; 1st app Omega the Unknown (Model X32) - "Omega the Unknown" - Marvel Value Stamp Intact A pretty much run-of-the-mill average copy that's been read before with some light wrinkles and a touch of edge wear. Pages off-white and all appears attached.Omega the Unknown 1 and 3FN-8.951976 - by Steve Gerber/Mary Skrenes/Jim Mooney #1 - 03/76 - 1st app James-Michael Starling; 1st app Omega the Unknown (Model X32) - "Omega the Unknown" #3 - 07/76 - vs Electro - "Burn While You Learn!" While it's obvious that issue 1 still has the Marvel Value Stamp in the one photo, it's just as obvious that #3 does not. Also, when I was paging through them to check for the MVS, I noted that issue 1 had some light scribbling on the page just before the MVS, which you can see my finger pointing to in one of the photos. Bottom line is that #1 isn't quite FN due to some outer wrinkling and wear. #3 looks nicer and would ordinarily come in at around FN/VF, the missing MVS makes it INCOMPLETE, so we have to demote it accordingly, putting the pair of them at just below mid-grade.Over the Edge 1NM1.7511/95 - UNOPENED - by Ralph Macchio/Robert Brown, Daredevil story - "And Fear Will Follow!" Still looks just about brand newPitt 1 (Marvel Graphic Novel)NM-4.751987 - UNOPENED ($3.25 cover price) - by John Byrne/Mark Gruenwald/Sal Buscema/Chris Ivy/Donald Hudson - "The Pitt" Beautiful copy that's been stored away for decades -- perhaps not pristine due to touch of storage wear, but dang, very nice!Power Pack 17-18VF/NM3.9512/85 - by Louise Simonson/June Brigman, 1st appearance of Franklin Richards as Tattletale - "Snark Attack!" 01/86 - by Louise Simonson/Brent Anderson, Scott Williams, Secret Wars II - "Secret Wars II; Crossover: Kurse!" Both copies show minor evidence of being handled before but remain bright and shiny with off-white to near-white pages.Power Pack 4,18VF2.5011/84 - by Louise Simonson/June Brigman - "Rescue!" 01/86 - by Louise Simonson/Brent Anderson, Scott Williams, Secret Wars II - "Secret Wars II; Crossover: Kurse!" Both look lightly handled, but still in good shape.Predator:Big Game TPBNM-5.9508/92 - UNOPENED ($14.95 cover price) - by John Arcudi/Evan Dorkin, Collects mini-series Other than some minor signs of having been handled, it's clear this one has never actually been cracked open and for all intents and purposes is brand new, and you're not going to beat this price anywhere!Psylocke and Archangel - Crimson Dawn 2-4NM6.501997 - UNOPENED ($7.50 total cover price) - Psylocke and Archangel: Crimson Dawn, issues 2, 3 and 4 of the 4-part limited series by Ben Raab/Salvador Larroca. Part of a collection of UNOPENED books I bought over 20 years ago -- they still look like they might have just been published.Punisher 7, 9, 11, Annual 1VF/NM4.751988 - UNOPENED - by Mike Baron/Dave Ross Issues 7, 9, 11 and Annual 1 from 1988, including the "Evolutionary War" storyline. All four books appear to be UNOPENED, bright shiny, with perhaps only #11 showing any real wear, though you can see a folded corner on the back of one in the photo, so they're obviously not pristine -- but all are high-grade.Quasar 5NM-3.501989 - UNOPENED - by Mark Gruenwald/Paul Ryan, vs Absorbing Man, Acts of Vengeance - "The Absorption Principle"Questprobe 1 (w/ Hulk)VF2.5008/84 - UNOPENED - by Bill Mantlo/Mark Gruenwald/John Romita, featuring the Hulk Shiny and still looks brand new except for slight bends in both right corners, dropping this below NM.Radio Shack Story of Electronics 1978 and 1984FN2.501978 and 1984 - Tandy Corporation - Radio Shack promo giveaway called the Science Fair Story of Electronics...the Discovery That Changed the World! The 1978 edition (with the kids at the computer on the cover) has obviously been read before, has wrinkling, off-white page and a couple of tears. The other one with the astronaunt is in much better shape, with only minimal handling wear and pages that are still near-white. I've marked the pair as FN overall.Raiders, Lost Ark (Movie Spot)FN3.9511/82 - UNOPENED - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - Marvel Movie Special #1 -- Raiders of the Lost Ark - complete adaptation of the hit Indiana Jones movie and collects all three previous Raiders of the Lost Ark issues. Unopened yes, but you can see easily enough that 40 years of storage wear has knocked this down to mid-grade. No better than mid-grade now, despite its shiny appearance.Ravage 2099 1NM1.7512/92 - UNOPENED ($1.75 cover price) - by Stan Lee/Paul Ryan, Foil, Metallic ink cover - 1st full app Ravage 2099 Book looks just about brand new still.Raven BannerVF/NM6.501985 - Marvel Graphic Novel 15 - ($5.95 cover price) - by Alan Zelenetz/Charles Vess, Raven Banner - "The Raven Banner: A Tale of Asgard" Looks just about brand new with almost no wear, and only a few surface specks on back upper left (visible in photo) prevent this from being full NM. Excellent copy that appears unread!Ren & Stimpy Show 4-5NM8.9503/93 - UNOPENED - Crash Dummies - by Dan Slott/Mike Kazaleh - "Espresso Yourself; Muddy Mudskipper: Gull of my Dreams!" 04/93 - UNOPENED - In Space - by Dan Slott/Mike Kazaleh - "The Croco-Men From Planet Zed!" Both front covers SIGNED by Don Slott (see photos). Books look like they might have just been published -- great shape!Robotech Defenders 1-2NM7.501985 - UNOPENED - by Judith Hunt/Andrew Helfer Complete Set even though the first one says "3 part mini-series." The second one corrects that error. Books look virtually brand new.Rogue 1NM-5.751995 - UNOPENED ($2.95 cover price, gold foil cover) - Issue 1 of the 4-part limited series by Howard Mackie/Mike Wieringo Book looks fantastic but not quite pristine -- still more like one that was just published last week than the 25+ years it's actually been! Pages still white as can be.ROM 17 (with X-Men)FN-4.5004/81 - UNOPENED - by Bill Mantlo/Sal Buscema, vs the Uncanny X-Men, first appearance of Hybrid. And to top it off, a fabulous cover by Frank Miller - "Hybrid!" This copy is indeed still unopened (well, I peeked inside to check the pages, and they're white). But you can see it was stored for the last 40 years against a bagged book with tape, some of which rubbed off onto the title, so I had to demote this mostly still new-looking book below mid-grade. A much cheaper alternative to this book since I recently sold a NM- copy for 11 bucks!Sabretooth 1-2NM6.5008/93 - UNOPENED ($2.95 cover price, die-cut cover) - by Larry Hama/Mark Texeira, Michael Blair - "Home is the Hunter" 09/93 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - UNOPENED ($2.95 cover price)- by Larry Hama/Mark Texeira, Michael Blair - "A Kiss Before Dying" Both feature Mystique, issue 2 has Wolverine app. Both look essentially like they did when they were first published -- you'd never guess these were about 30 years old!Secrets/Legion Super-Heroes 1-3FN7.501981 - (Complete Set) by E. Nelson Bridwell/Paul Kupperberg/Jimmy Janes, Origin of Legion of Super-Heroes, R.J. Brande revealed to be Chameleon Boy's father This complete set of three issues is in average shape and shows definite signs of having been read and handled, but is complete, with everything nicely attached, and off-white pages. Solid enough copies, if not spectacular. A good pick-up for fans of the Legion (though Cosmic Boy really needs some help in the fashion department -- aigh, my eyes!)Sgt. Fury 47VG-4.0010/67 - by Gary Friedrich/Dick Ayers, 1st app Gerta Heinz - "Tea and Sabotage!" An obviously well-read copy that's seen some action, still with some shine, but also some wrinkling. Cover is detached from upper staple, putting this one below VG (which requires that the cover still be attached). Pages all seem good.Shadow (vol3) #3-4, (vol4) #1NM4.501986-1987 - UNOPENED ($1.50 cover price each) - by Howard Chaykin Good grief -- all of them look like they might have just been published last week -- virtually brand new! The actual issues included consist of books from two diferent volumes.Slingers 0NM-7.5009/98 - UNOPENED - by Joseph Harris/Adam Pollina, Supplement to Wizard: The Comics Magazine #88; ca. 1998; first appearance of team and its members - "The Learning Curve" Only a not-perfectly-flat top edge (visible in photos) and a couple of specks near back bottom-right corner (too faint to make out in photo) prevent this from being a NM copy.Spectre (2nd Series) 1-4NM-6.501987 - UNOPENED - by Doug Moench/Gene Colan First four issues in series, which still look just about brand new -- only minor storage wear. Issue 4 has some tanning on back (see photo).Spider-Man and X-Factor 1-3NM6.501994 - UNOPENED ($1.95 cover price each) - Complete Set of 3 - "Shadowgames" Books literally look like they might have just been published last week! Awesome copies!Spider-Man Chapter One #7NM-1.7505/99 - UNOPENED ($2.50 cover price) - by John Byrne, vs Mysterio - "Madness Is All In The Mind" Looks like it was just published, with only a faint smudge above the red K on the back cover keeping it from full NM. Beautiful copy.Spider-Man Universe 1VF2.5003/2000 - UNOPENED ($4.99 cover price) -- Contains Peter Parker Spider-Man #13, Webspinners #13 and Spider-Woman #8 Looks brand new and indeed unopened, but the thick square binding didn't get pressed flat during printing, leaving the surface showing some warping, as you can see in the photo.Spider-Man, Skating on Thin IceNM-4.501993 - UNOPENED (One-Shot) - by Dwayne McDuffie/Alex Saviuk - Public Service Series, Todd McFarlane cover, vs Electro Looks just about brand new with white pages. Only a touch of fading and faint wear on back puts this one below NM.Spider-Man, Storm, Power Man Amer. Cancer SocietyFN2.951982 - American Cancer Society promo - Spider-Man, Storm and Power Man - "Smokescreen" Book is mid-grade with some general wear.Spider-Woman 1-2 (mini-series)NM-5.501993 - UNOPENED - Issues 1 and 2 of the 4-issue Spider-Woman mini-series, brought to you by Roy and Dann Thomas and Steven Ellis and featuring the Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman in her first series. Both books still look close to new, with #1 looking almost like it was just published, still with white pages. Issue 2 has faint diagonal crease on back cover (too faint to detect in photo) and so is not perfect, but still otherwise looks new.Spider-Woman 50FN+5.951983 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - by Ann Nocenti/Brian Postman, Final Issue (double-sized photo cover) - "Lifeline" Copy was never opened, but look above the "R" in the upper "MARVEL" and you'll see the start of a crease that extends down to the right edge, ending just to the right of the "N" in "Woman" -- so that corner got bent. So that dropped an otherwise VF+ NEWSSTAND VARIANT down to closer to mid-grade.Star RaidersNM3.951983 - UNOPENED - DC Graphic Novel 1 ($5.95 cover price) - by Elliot S! Maggin/Jos Luis Garcia-Lopez - "Star Raiders"Sun Devils lot of 9NM10.001984-1985 - UNOPENED - Gerry Conway/Dan Jurgens Issues 1-3, 7-12, or 9 of the original 12-issue series. All still look like they might have just been published last week for the most part. All at $1.25 cover price, so a buck apiece -- wotta deal!Super-Villain Team-Up 3 and 6VG+10.001975-1976 3 - by Jim Shooter/George Evans - "In Vengeance Fails!" 6 - by Steve Englehart/Herb Trimpe - "Prisoner!" A pair of 45+ year-old Bronze Age books that have certainly seen some action, with evident wrinkling, wear and some back soiling on the back of #3, but are completely whole and readable. No-frills copies for sure, but still a bargain for the price!Superman/TRS-80 Whiz KidsVF6.501980, 1984 - Tandy Comics (Radio Shack giveaway) Superman co-stars with the TRS-80 Whiz Kids in this classically vintage 1980 Radio Shack giveaway comic "The Computers that saved Metropolis" (with art by Jim Starlin no less). And don't look now, but the Whiz Kids are back again in 1984 in their own standalone issue here as well in "The Computer Trap" -- and you just gotta love that! If nothing more than to just laugh at the now-antiquated technology, this is a must-have! And hey, it's not like there's ever going to be another Radio Shack giveaway after all... As for the condition, they both are still in good shape, and look like someone might have lightly paged through them before, so no longer NM.Tales of the Marvels - BlockbusterNM-2.9504/95 - UNOPENED ($5.95 cover price) - by Mike Baron/Shawn Martinbrough - a story about two people, left in the wake and carnage of a superhero battle invovling the Silver Surfer and find each other to plot vengeance. Book looks brand new with pages white as can be. I marked it NM- only because there's a not quite perfect spot on the lower spine, but make no mistake -- it's in fantastic shape.Tarzan 1,3,250 (Marvel/DC)FN8.501976, 1977, 1984 A 4-issue lot of Tarzan, first by DC in a 1976 issue, which is in below-average shape around VG/FN. Issue 1 of the Bronze Age Marvel series by Roy Thomas/John Buscema is better than mid-grade, probably safely around FN/VF and shows only light wear. Issue 3 has been read a couple of times, and some stress on back keeps this one around mid-grade, and the final one looks almost new. I'll call the set as a whole FN. The nice copy of the Marvel issue #1 commands at least $5 here.Team X 2000 1NM1.9502/99 - UNOPENED ($3.50 cover price) - by Sean Ruffner/Kevin Lau - "Paradox Lost!"Teen Titans Spotlight 1-2NM-4.501986 - UNOPENED - 2-part Starfire story by Marv Wolfman and Denys Cowan (w/ George Perez cover) called "Apartheid -- No More!" Only minimal handling wear keeps this from getting a full NM rating. Both copies look just about brand new.The War 1-4 (Complete Set)NM8.5006/89 - UNOPENED ($3.50 cover price EACH) - by Doug Murray/Tom Morgan, "Mobilization" / "Confrontation" / "Retaliation" / "Aftermath" -- good grief, they look like they were just published last week! You'd never guess they were 30+ years old!Thing 30 (Secret Wars x-over)VF/NM2.9512/85 - UNOPENED - by Mike Carlin/Ron Wilson, vs Beyonder, Secret Wars II crossover - "Above and Beyond" Unopened, yes, but a bit of storage wear drops this nearly 40 year-old copy down to below NM. It essentially looks like it was bought, and handled at bit before being stored away for the long years ahead.Thundercats 5 and 6FN7.501986 - UNOPENED - Star Comics - by David Michelinie/Jim Mooney - "To Plunder Castle Plun-Darr!" and "Mumm-Ra Times Three!" They look mostly new still with only a little spine stress and storage wear, but note the title area of issue 6, which has a tape rub on it -- stored against a bagged book obviously, so I demoted these otherwise still very nice copies back down toward mid-grade.Thunderstrike 13NM1.7510/94 - UNOPENED ($2.50 cover price) - by Tom DeFalco/Ron Frenz, 1st app Bison - "Man and Beast!" flip-book with Code Blue on other side Still looks brand new with shiny surface and white pages!Tomb of Darkness 12VG4.0001/75 - Bronze Age Horror A well-read copy with visible wear. I paged through it, and it seems complete with everything attached/no cutouts.Tomb of Dracula 57FN4.5006/77 - by Marv Wolfman/Gene Colan - "The Forever Man" A solid, if unremarkable mid-grade copy that appears to have been read before. Is still in good shape and certainly in collectible condition and may actually grade a hair higher -- I'm just erring on the low side here. Pages off-white and all look good.Transformers 17VF4.9506/88 - by Bob Budiansky/Don Perlin - "Return to Cybertron, Part 1" Unopened, but has storage wear caused slight dimples on spine (see photo); back cover clean and white; pages still near white.Typhoid 1, 4VF-4.001995-1996 - UNOPENED ($3.95 cover price each) - Marvel Edge Comics - by Ann Nocenti/John Van Fleet, Wraparound cardstock cover - #1 - "Snow White", #4 - "Red Riding Hood" -- copies are unopened, but note the bottom left corner of the cover which got dinged on both copies.Untold Legend of the Batman 1NM-9.9507/80 - UNOPENED - by Len Wein/John Byrne/Jim Aparo, (notable for being John Byrne's actual first work for DC, years before he worked on Superman). Flat, shiny and wonderfully smooth copy that apparently was never read before because I found some of the inner pages were still stuck together like you often see on brand new copies. I left them alone but took the photo. However, the copy was apparently lightly handled because you can see some spine ticks in the side photos I provided. Not a perfect copy, but a high-grade one nonetheless.WarlordsNM3.951983 - UNOPENED - DC Graphic Novel 2 ($5.95 cover price) - by Steve Skeates/David Wenzel - "Warlords"Wild Thing 4NM1.5007/93 - UNOPENED - by Simon Jowett/Duke Mighten, Dr. Doom, Loki - "Secret Agendas!"World of Krypton vol 2, 1-4 SetNM7.501987-1988 - UNOPENED - by John Byrne/Mignola/Garzon Unopened copies that I bought when first published and immediately stored away. Look just about the way they did then, essentially brand new, with hardly any storage wear. Comes bagged together back-to-back.World of Smallville 1-4 SetNM-7.501988 - UNOPENED - (Complete Set) - by John Byrne/Kurt Schaffenberger/Alfredo Alcala Unopened copies that I bought when first published and immediately stored away. Only minimal storage wear and not pristine or anything, but they look essentially brand new. Comes bagged together back-to-back.World's Finest 246VG/FN5.5008/77 - Dollar Comics and includes features with Wonder Woman, Green Arrow/Black Canary too, as well as the standard Superman/Batman appearances. A well-read copy that's still structurally sound, though with some rough edges and wrinkling. Pages looked good when I leafed through it. Some nice Bronze Age work by many well-known DC staff, including that nice Neal Adams cover!World's Finest 300VF-3.5002/94 - UNOPENED - Special Double-Size issue featuring the JLA, Batman and the Outsiders, and a brief Teen Titans appearance. Book was bought and never opened, but some storage wear has bent a corner and is not entirely flat, but pages remain near white.X-Factor 2NM-2.501986 - UNOPENED - by Bob Layton/Jackson Guice - Issue 2 of X-Factor, which re-united the 5 original members of the X-Men. I bought this and stored it away UNOPENED, where it has remained virtually undisturbed for the last three-and-a-half decades. I think you can tell it isn't quite pristine or anything from the photos, but dang, it's still nice!X-Factor 2-3NM-4.951986 - UNOPENED - by Bob Layton/Jackson Guice - Issues 2 and 3 of X-Factor, which re-united the 5 original members of the X-Men. I bought copies of these and stored all of these away UNOPENED, where they have remained virtually undisturbed for the last three-and-a-half decades. I think you can tell they aren't quite pristine or anything from the photos, but dang, they're nice and still have white pages.X-Force 1NM2.5008/91 - UNOPENED (still sealed with cards) - by Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza/Rob Liefeld, 1st app G.W. Bridge; Cable card included; Wraparound cover - "A Force To Be Reckoned With"X-Men 2099 lot of 4NM-2.501993-1995 - UNOPENED - Issues 2, 3, 22 and 23 of X-Men 2099. Cover price for the set is just under $6.50. Only a top back edge on issue 2 that isn't perfect drops this set below NM. Otherwise, they look brand new.X-Men and the Micronauts 2-3NM-4.751984 - UNOPENED - by Bill Mantlo/Chris Claremont/Butch Guice -- issues 2 and 3 of the 4-part mini-series Books are almost, but not quite perfect with the extreme upper back edge of #3 not being perfectly smooth -- boy, it was close to NM anyway. Off-white pages on both.X-Men lot of 7NM-9.501986-1999 - UNOPENED - An eclectic set of X-Men-related titles. - X-Calibre #2 and 3 (#3 has a split spine) - Classic X-Men - reprints second half of Uncanny X-Men #94 - Amazing X-Men #4 - XSE #1 - Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix #1 - X-Men the Magneto War #1 Aside from the one split spine I mentioned above, the rest of the books look just about the way they were first published. Cover price on this lot alone is way more than what I'm asking, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a NM copy of X-Men the Magneto War for much less than this entire set!X-Men vs the Avengers 1NM3.951987 - UNOPENED - by Roger Stern/Marc Silvestri - Part 1 of the 4-part set. Book looks brand new!X-Men vs the Avengers 1,4NM4.501987 - UNOPENED - by Roger Stern/Marc Silvestri - Parts 1 and 4 of the 4-part set. Both books look brand new.XMen One-Shot Parody IssueVF-3.951986 - Milky Way Graphics Comics - X-Men parody issue (pronounced "Zhmen") I bought this when it was first published and never really looked at it, but it has been sitting in a box for decades, so a bit of storage wear and minor fading.Amazing Spider-ManAvengersCaptain AmericaDaredevilFantastic FourIron ManMarvel Team-Up/Two-In-OneSpectacular Spider-ManStrange TalesSub-MarinerTales to AstonishThorWeb of Spider-ManUncanny X-MenNew Teen TitansFive and Under Comics (20+ years-old)
