Description: Hello and thank you for viewing my listing. Today you are purchasing a CUT TO STAND specimen of NWA 13334 Primitive Achondrite Ureilite Meteorite from Northwest Africa. Ureilites are famous for their nano diamonds and sometimes mm sized diamonds. Very rare and extremely hard to cut material. This meteorite was sent in for classification in 2009 to U.C.L.A. and is FINALLY FINISHED!! Enjoy, most gorgeous classification and very rare. Took 11 years, and now here she is to the public. First time available cut. Very strange Ureilite in the fact that all the specimens are like flat platelets? Thin stones like 4 to 8mm's thick. But could be 4 inches wide and 8 inches long, but thin, lol. She was very very hard to cut also, I was hoping she was more of the graphite rich where they are more likely to cut without issues, nope, lol. THIS SPECIMEN HAS BEEN DISPLAYED IN MY OFFICE FOR OVER A DECADE. I CUT THE END OFF TO STAND, STANDS PERFECTLY ON HER OWN. THIS IS ONE OF THE BETTER SPECIMENS FROM NWA 13334, TIME TO MOVE ON, ENJOY!
