Description: This dress is all about shape, and it is alluring and lovely. There is a narrow collar around the neckline that feeds into a surplice bodice that is tacked down already for modesty. On the side, there is a hidden zipper. At the bottom there is a tier of gathers to add swish when you walk. Even the sleeves have small darts at the hem to shape them (see photo of sleeve turned inside out). It is intended to be slim fitting and is fitted around the bodice but it then flows into soft fabric that drapes well. 100% viscose, machine wash. Approximate garment dimensions: Overall length 48”. The bust is 41”, and below the bust where the seam is placed, it is 37” around. The waist is 39”, sleeve length 7.5”, diameter at bottom by the ruffled flounce hem is 64”. There is a 9” drop on neckline to surplice vneck which is sewn in place.
