Description: New old stock, with original metal brooch tag imprinted in French with a unique serial number. Brooch is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been worn or sustained wear. Back of brooch is signed GROSSE (c) GERMANY and dated 1961 on an oval cartouche. Attached to the pin is the original gold plated rectangle tag with the distinctive "G" for Grosse, marked CREATION GROSSE and stamped with a unique serial number. Henkel & Grosse (or Henkel) is a German design company renowned for its high-end designs for Christian Dior. The company was later acquired by Dior. Carefully packaged and shipped in a gift box.
