While searching for comparable designers, I came across Inge De Jonge. She’s an award winning designer in France, inspired by clothing from the 1920’s, 40’s, and 50’s. Everything is hand sewn by local seamstresses in Ardeche and in the Gard. She uses local plant based fabrics, sometimes organic, and often uses beautiful vintage fabrics she finds unused in old storage places and she upcycles! Very sustainable. Doing the bohemian, farmhouse, peasant thing. This particular top is the Bathild. It’s 100% medium weight linen, off-white, with a light coral print trim. It was sold to me as a size 46, which is 14 or XL in US sizes. That’s what it says on the hang tag. But, it’s actually size 36 or 4 or S in US.
