Description: NY Lot of Seven 1991 GENERAL MONTGOMERY DAY Cachet Envelopes with Special Cancel, plus much more... Here's what's included (all pictured below): Seven stamped and custom-canceled cachet monarch-size envelopes for the 1991 Montgomery Day Station. Six of these are mint - one of them signed by the Mayor of the village. The seventh was mailed later in 1995 with a postage make-up stamp and additional cancellation, to an address within the village (the designer of the Montgomery Day logo used since 1988), and has been sliced open neatly along top fold. A stack of about 75 of the cachet envelopes without stamps or cancellations. Note that many of these have some foxing spots along the bottom edge (see photos) Three 1992 cachet and canceled #6-3/4 size envelopes (different cachet design), all mailed at a later date locally within the village, again to the GMD logo designer, and again sliced along top fold to open. All are signed on the outside by the Mayor as well. High bidder/buyer gets it all, shipped via priority mail.
