Description: This is a fantastic study in oil for an oil painting by extremely well listed British artist Davis Shepherd (1931-2017). It depicts some sort of railroad vehicle, it is obvious that the steel wheel is on some sort of rail. Not sure if it is a flat bed rail car or not. Very nice detail and signed Davis Shepherd and titled, Study for Oil Muck, Mud and sunlight. The frame is 20" x 24".
