Description: Hello, I have a 4/4 violin. It’s in pretty good shape apart from a few scratches and is playable, not just an antique. I put a picture of the inside for labeling and it says “Handmade violin 1925”. No, I have not gotten it appraised with a luthier and I just want to be completely transparent about that because I don’t know the makers name. My asking price is due to the age, this violin is about to turn 100 years old and the sound is beautiful (I’m a violinist and have gotten complimented on the sound plenty). It would definitely need some polishing and new strings if you’re a fellow player though because I haven’t changed them in about a year. Other than that I would love and hope this violin goes to someone who will hopefully use it. The only reason I’m selling it in the first place is to pay for college, it’s truly a beautiful instrument I have had for many years. Again, it’s a beautiful instrument even if you’re just a collector. Let me know if you need any extra information and I’ll do my best to provide answers. Thank you! PS: I’ll throw in the case in there and the bow (warning the bow is very run down but still, I’d give it along with its case)
