Description: One of the first things I noticed about this vintage "witches cauldron" was it's authenticity. It's a real and heavy cast iron cooking pot, made just like any other real and full size cast iron skillet or pan or cooking pot. Nothing about it (except possibly it's size), appears toy like. Is it a salesman sample, a toy, or a Museum quality replica? Years ago when I was a kid, my parents would bring the whole family to a Chicago Museum (The Field Museum, The Art Institute, or The Museum of Science and Industry ????) and my Mother always made us stop and linger and admire the many displays of carefully made and furnished Minatare "doll houses". They where full of miniature but realistic tables, chairs, and yes cast iron kitchen ware. Perhaps I should have paid greater attention 60 years ago and not given my Mom such a hard time. Well Mom, I still don't need doll house furniture, but I hope that you'd be proud to know that I found a piece that you would love (and at least that I can recognize and can admire), and that I want to make it my business to get it into the hands of someone who will enjoy it like you might of. Well that's my story. Now it is your decision. Do you make this great miniature cast iron cauldron your own? If it helps you at all, know that you you'd be making my Mom happy! Thanks and enjoy, Ken.
