Description: Here is a great old Japanese compass, it is in a vintage custom fitted wooden storage case. It is marked on the face Kotobuki Keiki Seisakusho and Osaka Japan. I haven’t been able to identify the exact age and whether it is circa WW2 or post-WW2, online I see others with similar marks ending in Seisakusho but can’t find another with Kotobuki. The glass on top is 4” across, the case is 7.75” x 8” x 4.25” high. The case is in good shape, the compass has some tarnish & wear, the face has some peeling paint (at the south and east sides), and the edge looks bent at the south side (hard to see in the photos), see the photos for the exact condition. Buyer pays $16.00 shipping within the US.
