Description: Old Paris Vieux Paris French White & Gold Porcelain Large Tureen Circa 1850-1860s Mid 19th century Victorian era Old Paris / Vieux Paris white porcelain large tureen. Decorated with gold highlights to the finial and gold gilding along the edge and around the base. Unmarked. Probably circa 1850 to 1860s. Most of the gilding has worn off around the edge of the lid and tureen, and it has a lot of wear to the gilding on the finial and around the base as well. Also has a few small chips along the edge of the lid and one small chip around the base. Measures approximately 13 inches long from handle to handle x 8 1/4 inches wide x 10 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
