Old RPPC Twin Girls Betty Anne & Mary Catharine Barnard of Indiana Born 1922

Description: Here is an old RPPC (real photo post card) of two smiling, happy infants, in white or light color dresses and booties. On the back they are identified as Betty Anne and Mary Catharine with the name Florence Castleman Barnard written below their names and Return this written below the mother's name. I did some research and found that Betty & Mary were born in April of 1922, the daughters of Paul and Florence (Castleman) Barnard. According to Mary Catharine's birth certificate her father worked as a City Salesman and was age 23 when they were born and the mother, Florence was a homemaker aged 20 when they were born. I found them in the 1930 census along with another sibiling, but by 1940, the parents must've divorced as they were each married to someone else and the girls were living with the mother and her second husband. Paul died in 1988 and Florence in 1977. From other records I found Mary married Paul M. Beaman, Jr. and Betty married Henry J. Montoye, Jr. Since they look so youn in the photo I am assuming the picture was taken in 1922. The photo on the front of the card is nice and clear with some wear from age, like a few rough spots around the edges. The back has some marks on it. It was not addressed, stamped or postmarked, just has identification of the two infants and the mother written on the back. Great old photo postcard for anyone tracing the family history of the Barnard family. Postage will be 4.75 to the U. S. IF OUTSIDE THE U.
