Description: Old Taxco Sterling Silver 925 Knuckle Bypass Wrap Long Mexico Size 6 Band Ring A vintage/used/pre-owned Taxco Mexican modernist bypass/wrap design signed "CBS" "925" "Sterling" "Mexico" "Taxco" sterling silver knuckle ring, a nice mid-century piece. The ring is somewhat adjustable by design.The maker mark is shown in the photos "CBS" "Mexico" "Taxco". It is signed "925" & "Sterling" for metal content and guaranteed sterling silver. There is also an old Mexican EAGLE 3 assay mark. The face measures 36mm top to bottom (1 3/8") and the band measures about 5mm in the rear. It weighs 5.5 grams on our scale. This ring is in used/pre-owned condition, it is no longer perfectly rounded - it does show some signs of normal wear including some scuffs to the band and it needs to be cleaned and polished as we have not - NOT NEW; please view the photos and the written description below. This ring measures a size 6 on our jeweler's ring mandrel however by design it is somewhat adjustable by hand.
