Description: Manic Pandemic Art from Little Betsy's studio! I love to glue and glitter weird objects and found pieces and parts from the old, abandoned dump site off Historic Route 66 in Kingman, Arizona. So, what is a girl to do during a pandemic? I go into my studio and put stuff together! The body for this assemblage is an old rusty tin litho dog bank. I cleaned it up and cleared it with Rustoleum. I glued it on top of some vintage Disney wooden blocks. On the roof of the dog house, I affixed an old bakelite round button and on top of that, I glued a very old celluloid puppy dog. (The puppy dog is very fragile!) The piece measures 4 & 3/4 inches wide and is 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the pup's head. The bank does not work. It is broken. The back of the band reads: OPEN DOG KENNEL BY MOVING KNOB TO THE RIGHT * INSERT COIN ON DOG'S TONGUE * PUSH METAL LOOP IN - COIN WILL FALL INTO THE KENNEL AND KENNEL WILL CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY.Unique and One of a Kind! Perfect for any dog lover!
