The instrument has a telescope, two level bottles, two small telescope and iron case, some color has come out from the case, case has a original brass key attached to it to open and close it, telescope lens is clear and cross hairs are visible in it, bubbles are visible in both level bottles and can be seen through smaller telescope, there is a minor hair line and some dust in the inner lens of one of the smaller telescope which shows the reading but the numbers can be seen properly through the eyepiece, overall condition of instrument is good for its old age. It is indeed a good collectible piece, would be a nice addition to any engineers desk or surveyors mantelpiece and a must for old road level instrument collectors...
