Description: I offer a collection of more than 1150 (!!) old sewing machine patents of the wellknown Singer Manufacturing Company from USA, published between 1920 and 1945 (all in English). All patents are complete, that means contain the full text and all (often beautiful and very detailed - see example) drawings. The amount is more than 6000 pages!! Collection was made by the seller and is the best patent overview about patents of SINGER MFG. Co. You will find information about the technical developments of this company (most of all are sewing machines or parts / accessories of it) of this long time period only here in this easily to handle, perfect kind! It is interesting especially for collectors but also for other people who are interested in the history of sewing. Delivery is as pdf file (*.pdf) collection on a CD (not as printed book!). For viewing and printing you need only the wellknown Acrobat Reader (freeware). Each file contains one complete p a t e n t. Also included is an Excel (*.xls - file) list with patent numbers, datas of issue and registration, (mostly) inventor and patent titles. This list is linked directly to the patent files so that each patent will be open easily if you click on the link. It is not really a problem if you do not have the programme Excel from Microsoft. Look for "Excel Viewer" at google and you will find freeware version of anExcel Viewer programme. So you can open and print the Excel table without problem!
