Fine impressionist modern leaning floral flowers painting by important early California artist Ollie Perry. Studied with Alfred Mitchell. Active in the Spanish Village Balboa Park (San Diego) and specialized in floral painting. LISTED: San Diego Art Guild, Askart, Hughes - Artists in California 1786-1940, Davenport's Art Reference and many more. Oil on canvas. All original antique components with old frame. A couple spots of restoration needed -paint flecks on a couple of the flowers mostly on the right hand side (see photos). SIGNED lower right "Ollie M. Perry". SIZE: Aprox. 16 x 18.5 inches Framed, Aprox. 12.75x15 unframed MEDIUM: OIL ON CANVAS BOARD (see photos)CONDITION: In good overall vintage condition (see photos), appears bright and well kept. Frame has some edge wear due to age. Painting has some paint flecks mostly on the right side red areas of the flowers (see photos). Some restoration needed in these areas but overall in good antique condition. Could use a light cleaning, as found antique condition.
