For those unfamiliar with the OM-2S, it is the Aperture Priority version of the Legendary OM-1, and a step up in features from the original OM-2. It fills a similar niche as the AE-1 Program from Canon, but has a renowned line of lenses under the Zuiko name. Like all single digit OM film cameras, the OM-2S has a rugged build combined with a compart body sporting cutting edge features. Each one has minor imperfections that should be expected with age but have no major cosmetic or functional issues. Each camera has had the following:The light meter was tested against a modern Canon Mirrorless Camera for accuracy. Must read less than +/- 1/2 stop from referenceThe shutter speeds were tested from 1s to 1/500th of a second and must test less than +/- 1/2 stopThe shutter, advance, focus and aperture all work smoothlyThe exterior was gently cleanedNew light seals and mirror cushion were installedWhile these cameras have already seen some action, each one is ready for more for decades to come. These are great cameras to experiment with different shooting modes and techniques, and one that can work for a beginner or an experienced photographer. An OM-2S was a complete overall of the preceding OM-2 models, and shares most of its components with the OM-4. As such, it's a great alternative to the AE-1 Program, and features some legendary lenses.
