Description: ON THE ROAD by Jack KEROUAC 1st Edition 1st Printing 1957 Colonial Press READ This is a former library book. There is nothing different about the printing, just some evidence that this was once in a library. The dust cover has been glued onto inside of the front and back covers of the book. There is evidence of tape marks holding the plastic cover on the back slip cover. There are stamps from 1958 and 1959 from when the book was checked out of the library. I have looked into professionally removing the glue one the slip cover but chose to leave it in its most original condition. There is a scuff on the front slip cover (the white shown in the photos) this is not torn. I flipped through the pages of the book, there is evidence that this book was read such as a few dog ears and light wear, there is little to no marking, notes, or writing on the pages. I did find one page with a light stain that is photographed. Please see photos.
