Description: On the Road, Jack Kerouac, Folio first edition (thus) 2010, with inscribed card from Carolyn Cassady stuck to title page, writer and former lover of Kerouac’s, closely connected to the Beats and the inspiration for the character Camille in Kerouac’s 1957 novel; in slipcase. Book is in very good condition. Clean cloth boards; no internal marks at all, seems unread. Corners sharp, one very slightly bruised. Spine tips firm. Text block entirely clean. Slipcase clean, one bruised corner, corresponding to the lightly bruised corner of the book. A lovely copy with a cool association provided by the inscribed card.
