Description: Vintage One Dollar Non-Negotiable Punched Steel Token For Your American Coin or Token Collection-TOK001 Details Description: A fine or better punched steel one dollar non negotiable token. This is an old token showing quite a bit of aging signs such as rust spots and wear commensurate with its age and use. It has a rather large flan measuring about 1 5/8" in diameter. The token has the number "1" punched in its center with the sign "$" to its left and the words One Dollar Non Negotiable punched all around the circumference surrounding the "$1." The token has the same design on both sides. However, they are in a coin alignment rather than medal alignment. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: Uncertain but most likely mid 1900s. Origin: USA. Size and weight: 22.0 grams of steel and is 41 mm in diameter. References: Non known to us. Condition: I would grade this token as a nice fine or better. The coin has rust and wear commensurate with its age. Please see the oxidation to the surface which can be seen in the scan.
