Wooden $10 Bill Was a Gift To Then Current Members of The American Numismatic Association - A.N.A. - From The 1000th. Life Member of The Association - Fredric G. Mantei. He Became The 1000th. Life Member in 1972 at The 44th Semi - Annual Convention of The Empire State Numismatic Association, Which Was Held in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.. See Pics For More Details.The 43 year old, solid wood note, (which appear to be cedar), is approx. 6" long x 3" wide x 1/8" thick. It is flat with green and red text printed on it. One side reads: "10 Happy Dollars" - "Have A Happy & Prosperous Numismatic Year in 80"- "Fredric G. Mantei - Glendale, New York" - "May All Your Acquisitions Be BU". The other side reads: "$10 Yule Dollars" - "Numismatic Season's Greetings - From Glendale, New York" - "December 1979 - Fredric G. Mantei". (See Pics).
