Description: Super Rare One of a Kind Original 1944 WWII General Douglas MacArthur Press Corps. Artist Pen and Ink Drawing of what was known as MacArthur's Million Dollar Mansion Hollandia in New Guinea. Highly interesting and unique background information is available about this part of MacArthur's service in WWII. The drawing is signed and dated with personized notation by the Artist. I am unable to decipher the name of the Artist, but first name appears to be Vernon. There is all sorts of information and speculation about these headquarters. Lots from rumors spread through the ranks at the time, and more from the Homefront.
