Description: This is a fantastic, very large recruitment poster for the Navy dated 1942. It shows a calm and resolute anti-aircraft gunner firing at unseen enemy planes. "Let's hit 'em with everything we've got!" It's on glossy paper (hence the light reflection in the photos). I've seen reproductions of this but originals, especially in this condition, are extremely rare. This is from my mother's personal collection of vintage posters. She was an antiques and collectibles dealer in New England for many years and acquired this and dozens of other vintage posters (WW1, WW2, political, advertising and others) over 40 years ago. She has passed away and I am now going through her storage space and liquidating all of them. They are all 100% guaranteed authentic. It will be carefully packed and shipped in a mailing tube.
