Description: I purchased this five print set when they were first issued through the Amplifier's inaugural kickstarter. Offset lithographs, NOT signed or numbered. The paper is thinner than a traditional poster and best for mounting and framing. These are large posters, each measuring 24”x36." Three are designed by Sherpard Fairey, one from Jessica Sobagal and one from Ernesto Yerena. Price is for all five with original “Obey” insert in original mailing tube. Never mounted or printed but there is an edge that got a little curled from tissues paper pushed into the tube. See pics. Price reflects this. From Amplifier: "We the Indivisible: This piece from artist Jessica Sabogal focuses on the love, affection, and inspiration that will continue to persevere through the darkness. With the help of Amplifier’s donors, we will continue to spread Sabogal’s message in classrooms and public spaces. We are stronger than all hostility. We are indivisible."We The Resilient"American identity starts with Native resistance. In this artwork, Ernesto Yerena honors Helen Red Feather of the Lakota tribe during her bravery and resilience at the Standing Rock reservation in 2016. She was originally photographed by Ayşe Gürsöz while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. The DAPL violates treaty rights, compromises access to clean water and threatens the sacred burial grounds of the Standing Rock Sioux and Cheyenne River Sioux tribes. As indigenous communities continue to stand up for their land and resources, it is our duty to stand with them." "Amplifier set out to create icons of hope that rejected the hate, fear, and open racism that were normalized during the 2016 presidential campaign. We commissioned artists Shepard Fairey, Ernesto Yerena and Jessica Sabogal to create a series of images that remind us that our America is one of equal humanity that does not demean or discriminate. We held a series of language labs with cultural leaders in the United States, and from there, the We the People campaign was born."
