Description: This is my favorite painting and the very first one of the Faceless series I painted in 2016. The series including this Vermeer inspired girl have been exhibited in the art galleries, venues and City Halls of Sacramento, Roseville, and Rancho Cordova. This painting is completed with palette knife that creates attractive textures on the surface. The face is completed with silver oil paint therefore it has a beautiful glow. I have opted from defining the face features for a reason being to not have a particular mood, not make it readable as well as convey the idea that this girl can be any person not a specific one. Sometimes less is more.
