"Broad arrow" proofed and dated 1914. The unit marking I believe represents The Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire (Notts & Derby) - (41st Regiment of Foot), " The Sherwood Foresters". I believe the 2 represents the 2nd Battalion. The 2nd Batl. was in the 6th Division and fought the entire war on the Western Front. Just a great piece for your collection.
