Description: Original c. 1900 vintage photograph of Elbridge Geer and his dog and house in Hopeville, CT (near Griswold). Handwritten pencil note on back reads, "Elbridge Geer, his home + dog Hopeville Conn". Eldridge passed away in 1900 and his wife in 1896, so I think the photo was taken sometime in between. It measures 4.25" x 7.25" (7 x 9 with cardboard mount) and is in good to very good condition with some soiling and wear to cardboard mount, especially at corners. Image itself is sharp and clear.
