Description: An Original c1983 Tokima DigiRobo Watch by Bandai You are bidding for a genuine c1983 Tokima DigiRobo watch / desk top time piece, in shiny black with its original Tokima rubber strap. This is one of five new, old stock DigiRobo watches I am selling individually. These watches have become valuable collectable items particularly in mint condition. The watch, original cardboard box, black Tokima presentation box, light grey stand and instruction sheet are as new, and has never been out of its box (other than to check and test it before selling) and subsequently has never been worn. The DigiRobo watch was originally designed to be worn by a child either as a wristwatch or the watch can be easily detached from the strap and back plate by pushing in two small knobs, and by pulling out its legs and extending its articulated arms when placed on a flat surface can be used as a free-standing desk top time piece. The screen is an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) powered by a battery (SR621SW / 364 cell type). The original battery died long ago. I will replace the battery on request at no extra charge, or otherwise the watch will be sold with the original battery in place, un-tested, for the discerning collector, retaining 100% originality. Please Beware: A well-known issue with Tokima DigiRobo watches is the plastic wrist straps become very brittle with age (this watch is 40 years old!). The strap as sold, is complete and unbroken, but I cannot/will not guarantee it against breakage or deterioration due to its age. Please note: You are bidding for one watch only.
