Description: Jose Luis Salinas Cisco Kid Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-18-52 (King Features Syndicate, 1952). Known as "The Robin Hood of the Old West," the Cisco Kid was the creation of author O. Henry, and the character enjoyed a successful run in the comics from 1951-1968, stunningly illustrated by Argentinean artist Jose Luis Salinas. Ink, white paint, and Zipatone over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 20.25" x 5.5". Slight toning, discolored Zipatone, white-out correction/clean-up, folds between panels, pinholes, smudging, and staining. Salinas signature in lower right of strip. In Very Good condition.
