This ad is the inner back cover of the early (small format 8"x11") Life Magazine, and the image is that of his cover illustration for that Vogue issue. You can see the back cover which is the other side of the ad, and is a great ad for Pall Mall cigarettes. Note: this is the single double sided ad only, not the whole magazine. FX Leyendecker was the brother of the famed JC Leyendecker and he died young, his work is very prized today.
