Description: . This is a very nice condition German WWII Carl Zeiss 12x60 binoculars. These were designed to be used in conjunction with a 4 meter long range finder for directing heavy Flak guns.At the start of WWII, Germany wanted to keep the makers of its military equipment secret and assigned each company with a letter code. blc was assigned to the Carl Zeiss of Jena Company.Binoculars retain original data plate that reads:blcRm.F 12x60fürEm4mR40 Serial number 276084 can be found on the bottom. Individually adjustable eyepieces are fitted with an inverted "V" reticle on the right optic. The optics themselves are bright and clear, the binoculars retain the original dunkelgelb (tan) paint and are in overall good tovery good condition.a plate adapter to be mounted on a modern tripod is included as well as a Manfrott tripod as pictured To keep its historical value this binocular have NOT been restored yet they function as they should please refer to the pictures for more detail as is part of the description THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS PICTURED FOR SHIPPING WILL BE WELL PACKED AND INSURED
