Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Rare and beautiful original oil painting by K. Ruge. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Great attention to detail in this still life by noted artist K. Ruge. The cobalt blue/white bowl has a very intricate and ornate pattern, and the candle looks so real you can almost feel the heat. The painting is signed prominently in the lower left corner. More information about the artist is printed on a piece of paper that was attached to the artwork on the back of the canvas. The painting is framed in a nice gilded wood frame that has a sticker from Fabry's Art Gallery, Windsor, Ontario. This would make a great addition to your collection, demanding a prominent place. CONDITION: Very good. FLAWS: Light age crackling in the paint on the right side of the candle (see pic). AGE: Mid-century. MEASUREMENTS: The canvas measures 12" x 16", the frame measures 17" x 21".
