Rickley Dumm and directed by Alan J. Levi, which aired on October 13, 1983 (Season 4, Episode 3). The show ran for eight seasons, from 1980 - 1988, for a total of 156 episodes and starred Tom Selleck as Thomas Sullivan Magnum, IV, a charismatic private investigator living in Hawaii, and co-starred John Hillerman, Roger E. Mosley, and Larry Manetti. Bradbound. Fine in printed studio wrappers. Tom Selleck was nominated many times for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work in the series and won the award in 1984. Selleck’s co-star, John Hillerman was also nominated for many awards for his work on the show and eventually won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 1987.
