These photographs come from a large collection of near pristine photos, all well-protected, and housed in a safe for many years. In many instances, the collector has added notes or research for the photos (as shown, if available). These are 10" x 8" cameraThis photo is from Apollo 15, and was taken on EVA3 with a 70mm Hassleblad. It depicts the ALSEP experiment set-up in the distance below a mountain, with the shadow of the lunar lander in the foreground. The photo is likely from David Scott, and this was the first mission that the Lunar Roving Vehicle was used. It is numbered in red, AS15-88-11952 This is an original NASA-issued chromogenic photograph, printed on thick fibre-based paper, and watermarked “A Kodak Paper.” There is official NASA red-numbering on the front. This is the most valuable and desired version of this photo. ConditionOverall, the piece is in excellent condition, free of concerns. There are no creases, bends, fingerprints, or other concerns. All four corners are crisp, with nothing that distracts. The colors are correct and unfaded.
