I've used every method available from live portrait classes, to books, audio and video instruction and surrounding myself with artists more experienced than I. My representational style continues to evolve. I am an active member of Arkansas League of Artists and National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society. I have exhibited work at the Laman Art Gallery for the Arkansas League of Artists Member Shows. Most recently, I was juried into the national 2024 Southwest Artist Inc show. I spend my free time sketching, reading art books and studying great historical and contemporary artists in order to advance my practice.
