Description: Original rare SIWASH apple box/apple crate label. From 1930s for apples from the Famous Wenatchee-Okanogan District that were grown and packed by Monroe-Slade Fruit Company in Bridgeport, Washington which were the "largest independent growers & shippers of delicious apples in the world). Great image of an American Indian. While this is a blue label it was used for fancy grade apples because of the brand name being in red & fancy on the label. Western litho printers bug with print date of December 1934 in the lower left. Label is in good-fair condition BECAUSE ALL FOUR CORNERS WERE DAMAGED/BUMPED OR TORN & HAVE BEEN REPAIRED WITH ACID FREE ARCHIVAL TAPE (if it did not have these it would be mint) - see photos. Label is sold AS IS so look carefully before you bid. I will combine shipping on auctions.
