Description: Original Carvin v220 guitar from the 1980s In a slightly pearlized shimmering red color. The guitar looks mostly stock, the pickups look to have been changed to Seymour Duncan’s decades ago and have some patina on the screws/magnets ect. The guitar works and plays nicely, the strings are old and the low E string is pretty much flat/dead. There are nicks tings and slight scratches throughout and some dulled ware to the paint in the strumming area but overall the guitar has been well cared for and has just typical honest play ware. The frets have very modest ware and lots of life left. The bottom tone knob spins kind of wonky but does work. The tremolo works and the threads on the bar are nice and spin smoothly. This is a very old guitar so not perfect but overall nice survivor. The case has done its job and has plenty of patina on the hardware and scrapes/gouges in the outer tolex and corners, it looks like a 40 year old guitar case but it is the original and still functioning fine. Please review all photos using zoom and please ask all questions prior to purchase if needed. Plenty of more photos if needed by request. The guitar is 40 plus year’s old so please expect imperfections and a needed string change/set up ect. Great piece of USA 1980s shredding history! Guitar will be shipped with insurance.
