The Revolutionary Trade Union Movement (ROH) was a monopoly trade union organization that was also the most mass social organization in socialist Czechoslovakia. In many cases, employee membership in the ROH was practically mandatory and automatic. The activities of ROH trade unions were usually focused on collecting membership fees, organizing social (typically International Women's Day celebrations) and recreational activities and operating recreational facilities for workers (Wiki).
