This spool fits the second version purportedly made by Ross Reels, and will not fit the version attributed to Lamson USA manufacture. Please be sure you have the compatible model. Your reel should have the same style latch release and latch cover. The spool is in overall very good condition. The rubber o-ring tippet lock on the counterbalance is old and cracked.
